Reviews
Reviews Editor: Liz Grzyb
We've got a bumper issue of reviews for you this time. It's the holidays,
so we wanted to do something a little special.
In the eleven reviews we have lined up for your reading pleasure this issue,
we include a critique of the long-awaited Australian Speculative Fiction:
a genre overview, a look at Patricia Irvine's poetry collection Leaving
the Mickey. We also have a host of long fiction reviews, such as a critique
of Ian McDonald's River of Gods to contrast with the review from last
issue, a quick rundown on Garth Nix's Aurealis-nominated Drowned Wednesday
and reviews of two of Sarah Zettel's novels. Short fiction is not left out,
either, with anthologies from Steven Utley, George Alec Effinger and Rosaleen
Love being reviewed.
Much kudos to our reviewers who have been working extra hard, and also thanks
to the publishers who have been so generous in supporting us with review copies
of books this year. Have a fabulous holiday season, and enjoy the break!
Remember, if you too want to join the ranks of reviewers at TiconderogaOnline,
just send me an email!
